EMOTIONS
In December 2017 I began creating this abstract serie I call EMOTIONS when I added a new amazing color to my palette; burnt umber.
The paintings describe our variety of feelings and emotional states.
Using the range of colors from pitch black, bright white and raw burnt umber, I want to describe several emotions we go may go through, enjoy and/or struggle with when we are in- or outside a relationship. .
Both title, form and the expression in the painting itself, will all together show the emotions I try to capture, even though these paintings are truly abstract and non-figurative.
And I must say, this serie is by far the most draining and exhausting I've ever done. Hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do.
