E M O T I O N S - is a serie of abstract paintings exploring the many layers of human feeling - the unspoken, the raw, and the vulnerable. Each work reflects inner movement, moments where the emotion takes form through color, texture and gesture.
This serie is not about explanation, but about experience, about allowing space for imperfection, complexity and what it means to be human. The paintings invite the viewer to connect with their own emotional landscape - feelings that may be difficult to define yet deeply present and real.
Moving between light and dark, Emotions follows the flow of color and the emotional states we pass through in life and in relation to others, with titles that quietly echo the feeling held within each painting.

“EMOTIONS began in December 2017 with the introduction of a new and transformative colour in my palette: burnt umber. What started as a material shift developed into an ongoing abstract investigation of emotional experience.
Working within a deliberately restrained range of tones — from deep black through luminous white to the raw warmth of burnt umber — the series explores shifting emotional states, inner tension, and moments of clarity. Although entirely abstract, the works rely on composition, rhythm, and title to suggest emotional terrain rather than describe it.
This has been the most demanding and immersive body of work I have undertaken. Each encounter is intended to allow space for reflection, resonance, or recognition.”
