INK BIRDS
My collection of INK BIRDS paintings.
The first paintings in this serie I made with acrylic, ink and chlorine, therefor the name Ink Birds, but now they are all painted in acrylic so I can breathe safely during the creative process. When I began working with this serie, the Ink Birds were created out of my free imagination, but the later birds are inspired by the amazing frigate birds from the Caribbean.
Funfact: Did you know that Japan also found inspiration in these Caribbean birds, when designing warplanes because of their incredible properties of flying higher than any other birds in the world?
