INNER FACADES - explores the inner architecture of human experience - quiet structures of emotion, memory and reflection. What forms within, long before it becomes visible. A response to what cannot always be spoken.

Each work exists between presence and absence, where form becomes a space to enter rather than something to observe.

INNER FACADES is a series of paintings exploring quiet structures, inner architecture, and what emerges in the space between form and absence. The works unfold within a muted landscape of chalky whites, warm earth tones, and deep, bearing surfaces — where each image functions both as a façade and as an inner room.

The series opens with grounded forms and darker masses that establish weight and stability. From there, the structure gradually loosens, moving toward more open and exploratory surfaces. Through transitions, points of pressure, and subtle shifts, the works move between the compact and the open.

The palette remains consistently restrained and architecturally anchored. At times, more concentrated fields of color emerge - not as contrast, but as quiet intensification within the composition.

These elements do not function as decoration, but as structural points of gravity. They introduce rhythm and depth, while the overall expression remains quiet and grounded.

References to mid-century modern can be sensed in the calm and spatial awareness of the works, while subtle traces of Art Deco appear in the vertical structures and rhythmic compositions. Still, the series is first and foremost a personal interpretation — where geometric clarity meets a more intuitive and sensory approach to painting. Inner Facades is not about outward-facing surfaces.

It is about spaces that build inward — that hold.
